These alphabet sound cards will give your child a head-start to phonics by providing real life visual representations and words that have that sound in them.
When children begin to learn phonics sounds they generally focus on one sound at a time, which is why flashcards are used in many schools and nurseries when teaching phonics. On the front of each card there are pictures that start with that sound (expect for x which mostly comes at the end) and on the back of each card is the corresponding letter.
